I have skill and experience in several areas of the Arts, and enjoy the challenge of an Arts practice that draws on blended disciplines.
THEATRE BIO
During the last few years i have maintained a constant training in linklater voice and performing Shakespeare for stage with Rob Pensalfini and QSE.I have also trained in Stage combat,Theatre Clown, Voice Overs and Screen Acting.
I have previously also worked with: Queensland Shakespeare Festival; Vulcana Womens Circus; and self-devised performance with The Angry Mime . I have trained in Linklater voice with Rob Pensalfini and Shakespeare & Company; and in clown with Andrew Cory, Bridget Boyle and Liz Skitch; Group Improvisation with QSE, and solo impro with Andrew Morrish. I have performed as a solo musician and in musical theatre and I continue to periodically play with fire.

MUSIC BIO
primarily a singer, my voice lends itself well to blues and jazz, funk, hiphop and folk- i have a broad musical taste and love blending styles. I have a moderate level of skill with the guitar and also play the alto recorder. I enjoy collaborating with other musicians. Recently i have been singing with a local choir and have performed with them at several events.I have been performing as a solo singer/songwriter for the last 8 years and have collaborated with others in cabaret style performances and musical theatre. One of my strengths is writing harmonies and mostly I love to sing blues fusion styles.
I was a musician in the production of As You Like It put on by the QSE in 2002. I have performed as a solo singer/guitarist at ArtLoveJam and West End festival, as well as many comunity events and fundraising events.
In 2004 i co-recorded and produced a compilation cd with 2 other artists. [Gene Miller and Moses Jones] produced solo album from this process [not pressed.]
WRITING BIO
In 2002 I self-published a book of poetry, short fragments and photography called Standing on the Road -[ from old bits of paper], which was recognised in the magazine of the Queensland Writers Centre ; I have also been published in several magazines and small publications.
i was interviewed last year for a thesis on self-publishing, and i have started to write another book of short stories, poetry and photography.
VISUAL ART BIO
I have had several solo shows and been part of many group exhibitions of Photography, Painting, Drawing and Collage from 1993-present.[I have only included those since 2000 here] Photography is now my main Visual Art medium and i am focused in recent years on macro observations of the natural environment and digital collage. I have recently made the transition to digital photography and have a very good standard of skill with adobe photoshop. I have designed many posters and other graphic images[eg t-shirt designs] for many events and various organisations. I have also created the graphics for several websites.
