storms and cycles of grief

well....brisbane is steaming today - it must be close to 100% humidity. my partner has escaped to the coast and i'm thinking of heading out to a creek any time soon. The storms have been amazing...after so long a drought, its incredible to watch sooo much water fall from the sky in such short spaces of time.
i have been in cycles of grief for the last few days as it comes around again, and once more the inquiry into my son's death hits a snag and we're forced to wade through another ajournment.

thinking and being in grief makes me want to write about it, and ideas are forming for a book of women's stories - too often untold of - of the death of a first born baby and processes of grief and healing.

but right now the creek calls, as does the week's planning...
